Our STORY

LIFT aims to deliver the vision of 100% youth employment for the Hawke’s Bay region.

We work with our most disadvantaged and excluded young people, supporting both them and employers, networking and connecting with service providers, to create a much needed and job-led ‘wrap-a-round’ approach that provides pathways for young people into sustainable employment or entrepreneurship.

Our business-led solution was established as a direct response to issues identified through engagement with young people, parents, whanau, communities, service providers and  employers in Hawke’s Bay.

Our products and services have been designed by local rangatahi and are delivered by a youthful and experienced team, who offer unique relatability and can build relationships and rapport others cannot.

At its core, our model focuses on bringing rangatahi and their whanau and local employers together.  

We focus on our customer’s needs and connect with them on channels they use. We have a flexible, non constrained approach to provide our services.

We also utilise a reverse marketing approach and Bounce Life Skills a training programme which gives the foundational skills that every job seeker needs before getting out there and living their dream.

We are constantly seeking customer feedback and adapting our model and delivery to best meet the needs of our rangatahi.
